Connect a Site
Bring an environment you already operate into Bstrapr’s access model. Your infrastructure stays where it is.
Before you begin
Choose the environment you want to make available and give it a clear name, such as production-api, client-a, or development-desktop. You should have permission to administer that machine and decide who can access it.
- Public-cloud VM or VPS from any supported provider
- On-premises office or datacenter server
- Personal laptop or desktop used for development
The enrollment flow
- Open Sites and choose Add Site
- Name the Site and review the access scope
- Run the authenticated enrollment process on the environment
- Confirm that the Site appears as connected
- Invite and assign collaborators only after the Site is ready
What enrollment does
Enrollment establishes the relationship between your Bstrapr account and the Site you selected. It does not move your workloads, change your cloud provider, or make Bstrapr the owner of your machine.
Operational setup
The authenticated dashboard provides environment-specific enrollment instructions and verification status. Those instructions are intentionally kept out of public documentation because they contain deployment details for your account and Site.
This public guide explains the workflow. Environment-specific setup commands, connection details, and administrative controls are available inside the authenticated dashboard.
