Delegated access

Provider Groups

Provider Groups help agencies assign several specialists to a client Site at once, then adjust membership without rebuilding every assignment.

What this page is for

Provider Groups live on the provider organization. Create named groups (for example Backend Devs), add team members, then assign a group to a delegated client Site from Managed Customers when you have access.assign.

Create and manage groups

  • Create Group and give it a clear name
  • Use Manage members to add specialists from your Team
  • Remove someone from a group to drop only that group’s derived access
  • A specialist can belong to multiple groups

Assign groups to client Sites

On an ACTIVE managed customer with access.assign, open the client Sites in scope and assign a provider group. Current group members receive the group grant. New members added later inherit that group’s Site access; removals drop only that group’s grant.

Disable vs remove from a group

  • Remove from group — affects access from that group only
  • Disable specialist — broader offboarding that revokes derived delegated grants across managed customers
  • Client Suspend or Revoke on the Service Providers side still overrides all group grants under that relationship

This public guide explains the workflow. Environment-specific setup commands, connection details, and administrative controls are available inside the authenticated dashboard.
